Presenters: Wayne Saunders, Adam Fromholtz, Karim Haddad, Jackson Rumble, allistair Phillips, Mert Tansu, Ian Stewart
The primary goal of the knife camp is to give all members the opportunity to develop their knowledge during a hands-on workshop covering a range of both fundamental and specialist knifemaking skill areas. Particular focus is on improving the quality of member’s work and addressing key skill areas required to pass the Full Member Assessment.
The format will be similar to previous years, with a mix of group sessions, presentations and a range of hands-on practical sessions to choose from, run by some of the country’s top makers. The exact topics and schedule will be confirmed closer to the date.
It is presumed that all participants are already at least of a probationary knifemaking standard. these sessions will be focused on details and raising the skill level from probationary standard to full member standard rather than simply introducing members to the skills presented.
Lastly, the price for this event has always been a strong selling point and this year we’ve lowered it even further! We also wont be setting a cap on attendance. This is to encourage as many members as possible to attend
We’re taking bookings now. Register your interest today by replying to this email.
