On the 6th & 7th of May The Australian Knifemakers Guild Annual Knife Show will be held at the Best Western Convention Centre near Melbourne Airport.

Knives from some of the best makers in the country will be on display as they come together to show and sell their work. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the winning knives from The Guild’s annual knifemaker awards, as judged by their knife making peers prior to the doors opening on Saturday. The award categories include Art Knife, Kitchen, Utility, Hunting, Folding, EDC and Best Damascus/Forged.

In addition to hundreds of knives, there will be several knife maker supply businesses offering materials and equipment such as exotic timber and synthetic handle materials, bars of mono and laminated steel, grinders, belts, glue, anvils, hammers, tongs. Whether you’re a beginner setting up or an old hand resupplying there will be more than enough to choose from.
